Today, on March 7th, the church celebrates the feast day of St Perpetua and St Felicity and their companions who were martyred on this day in the year 203 at Carthage in North Africa. So profound was the impact of their martyrdom that they are mentioned in Eucharistic Prayer No. 1 and have been honored by the Church for 1799 years. God Bless!
