Today on July 3rd we celebrate the lives of Sts. John Jones and John Wall. John Jones was Welsh. He was ordained a priest and was twice imprisoned for administering many sacraments before leaving England. He joined the Franciscans at an old age and returned to England 3 years later while Queen Elizabeth I was still in power. John ministered to Catholics in the English countryside until his imprisonment near the time of his death. God Bless his work for the poor.
