On July 10thth the Church remembers the life of Blessed John Duns Scotus, a Franciscan theologian and philosopher who lived from around 1265 until 1308. From time to time in Christian history God raises up people gifted with holiness and with intellect so that the whole Church may understand more deeply the Apostolic truth.
